And it's detailed so clearly that someone without a technical background would still understand it. I've had a career in IT, so the technical stuff was of great interest to me. But he most certainly is the writing is superb, beautifully crafted, compelling stuff. That fact doesn't necessarily guarantee he's going to be a good writer. Snowden, I'm sure, was an extremely meticulous programmer/analyst/administrator. I had to replay several sections to make sure I wasn't hearing things.Truly scary stuff. But the details revealed in this book still made my jaw drop.
